Officers & Board

President: Maria Pereira

I got my first two Havanese in 2009, was encouraged by the breeder to show them and I was hooked!  I currently have five Havanese including BISS GCH Harbor's Mad About You a.k.a. "Maddie" who was the #1 owner handled Havanese in 2013.  Maddie had her first litter in December of 2014 and two of her puppies have entered the show ring.  One of my males, Major, is an obedience and rally champion.  I am also a member of the Havanese Club of America and the Mid Florida Havanese Club.

Vice President: Rose Ann Gregorich

I got my first husky in 1992 and had my first litter of puppy in 1995. I am a member of the Siberian Husky Club of America and the Greater Atlanta GA Siberian Husky Club. I am very proud to have bred, co-owned, and finished 7 Champions. I am a past president of this club and have been a member for over 11 years.

I have written for numerous Afghan magazines over the years on a variety of subjects. I just love all things dogs!!

Secretary: Carla Stumpo-Taltz

I have always been an animal lover, especially of horses and dogs. Over my adult life, I have had three Labrador Retrievers, all very different. My third is my first show dog, Cosmo. He is not only beautiful, but sweet and ultra-affectionate, with seemingly boundless energy, especially in the cooler weather. I have been privileged to serve as Recording Secretary of the Club for many years and now as Registrar of our Training Center.

Melissa Bausman

I've had dogs, cats and horses all my life, but got my first bullmastiff in 1991 and fell in love with the breed. Currently, I am on the board of the Sunshine States Bullmastiff Club, a member of the American Bullmastiff Association, Southwest Bullmastiff Club and Great Lakes Bullmastiff Assoc. and the FL/GA Rescue Coordinator for the American Bullmastiff Association. My primary interest is conformation, and I've also titled several dogs in obedience and agility.

Dave Glazer

I have been a member of the Venice Dog Club for many years and although I do not have a dog at present, my passion is Bouviers. I help out wherever I am needed, especially in preparation for and during our annual dog show.

Gloria Goodfellow

I’ve had rescued dogs all my life but never did any formal training with my dogs until hearing about the Venice Dog Club. I found the classes very informative and fun. In 2006 I formally joined the Club and since then have been very involved doing many different jobs. I am the person you generally reach when you call the Venice Dog Club asking for general information or details about the dog training classes. I enjoy speaking with dog owners and helping them make good decisions for their pets.
